Dr Chauhdry has been a trusted certified cannabis doctor and resource to his patients since the program started back in 2016 and has been serving happy patients ever since. He cut “against the grain” and advocated for patients in need of another modality with less unwanted harmful side effects that come with many narcotics. When many were skeptical he was a believer in cannabis as a medicine and garnered the trust of the community.

Medical marijuana, or medical cannabis, has over 540 chemical substances. On top of THC and CBD over 100 other cannabinoids have been found to treat chronic illnesses or conditions. For centuries worldwide, the Cannabis plant has been used in medicinal practices until the beginning of the 20th century until those liberties were taken from patients. Today, 37 states in the U.S. have legalized the use of medical marijuana for treating specific illnesses and there are many more on the horizon. There is a lot of evidence on the therapeutic benefits of medical cannabis, particularly in reducing chronic pain, nausea, and anxiety that can accompany medical conditions that qualify in the state of New York.
In the State of New York, these are the legally recognized ways to consume cannabis:
Dr Chauhdry has been an advocating marijuana doctor since the program’s launch in 2016.
In other words, it’s safe as long it is consumed responsibly.
Medical marijuana offers a non-invasive, natural alternative way to treat qualifying medical conditions, with zero to minimal side effects. Instead of some synthetic prescription drugs that can cause your body harm along with unwanted side effects, medical cannabis can alleviate your unwanted medical symptoms, make you feel great and maybe be the best solution for you. We believe conventional medicine has its place and can be effective in treating certain medical conditions. “The risk has to be worth the reward”, however in many situations, it’s not. Tens of thousands of physicians believe naturally formulated botanical cannabis should be the “first line defense” medication a patient is given. Isolated Synthetic FDA-approved options like Marinol, Syndros, and Cesamet don’t have the same positive benefits present in the botanical formulated medication which is why most patients prefer going into a dispensary and choosing a product with an ingestion method they prefer.

Once a patient qualifies, Dr. Chaudhry provides them with certification. The certification, along with a Registry Identification Card or Medical Marijuana Card issued to the patient by the State of New York, will allow a patient to purchase marijuana products from the Registered Organizations’ dispensing facilities. Your medical card will be the only way you are allowed into a dispensary in New York to purchase medical-grade cannabis products.
We understand that some patients may be unable to commute to the dispensing facilities regularly. If you can’t make it to the dispensary, don’t worry you have options. You can choose one or two caregivers, who must also register with the State of New York and obtain a Registry Identification Card, to pick up your medication. A caregiver registered with the department of health can enter the dispensary on your behalf to buy cannabis products. Dispensaries offer virtual consultations on their medical-grade marijuana products with a licensed pharmacist. You can choose to pick up cannabis in person or have it conveniently delivered right to your home. It’s that simple!
Please note: Monday & Wednesday, the office is closed for patient consultations. Our patient support team is ONLY available by phone to answer questions or to help you make an appointment.
